Brooklyn, NY----Erasing early deficits in every set, the Brooklyn College women's volleyball team pulled out an exciting sweep on Senior Night over Pratt, 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-21), in their regular season finale at the West Quad Center on Thursday. Brooklyn improves to 16-12 overall with the win while Pratt drops to 11-8. Next Up: Having secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament, the Bulldogs will host the winner of No. 3 John Jay and No. 6 Lehman in the semifinals next Thursday, November 3, at 6pm.
The Rundown
- BC seniors, Ashley Fung and Alanis Guinada, were recognized prior to the match.
- Pratt jumped out to a 4-0 lead to start the match. Brooklyn slowly clawed their way back into first set before going on an 8-0 run to take an 18-14 and never trail again. Pratt would take another sizable early lead in the second set. Trailing 19-18, the Bulldogs rallied for seven straight scores to take the second set. Keeping with the theme of the evening, Pratt would lead 8-3 to start the third set. With scored tied, 16-16, made their run with a six-score rally that put the Cannoneers away for good.
- Both teams were efficient offensively on the evening with BC finishing with a .348 to .247 edge over Pratt.

- Fung finished with the match's lone double-double, putting away 10 kills while coming up with 11 digs. She also assisted on a pair of blocks.
- Aleah Rafat put away a team-high 12 kills while serving up a match-high six aces.
- Tessa Winkleman finished with 11 kills, four digs, and 3 service aces.
