Farmingdale, NY----Despite a game-high 26-point effort put out by junior forward, Elisha Park, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team wasn't able to pull out a non-conference win on the road at Farmingdale State on Tuesday, falling to the Rams, 89-63. BC drops to 1-6 overall with the loss while FSC improves to 3-1 with the win. Next Up: The Bulldogs begin a three-game home stand next Wednesday against Drew University at 7:15 pm.
The Rundown
- Without a lead the entire contest, the Bulldogs got on the board following a made three splashed by senior guard, Kayin Olajide, with 16:25 to go in the first half, cutting the early deficit to 5-3. Park knocked down his first three of the game to cut the Rams' lead to 8-6, which is the closest the Bulldogs would get for the remainder of the game with 15:45 left in the first half.
- Farmingdale would head into halftime with a 45-26 advantage.
- Shooting 50% from the field in the first half and 48% for the game, the Rams maintained a comfortable in the final 20 minutes of play.
Leading the Bulldogs
- Park connected on 5-10 from behind the arc on the evening and grabbed 13 rebounds for a double-double.
- Sophomore guard, David McFadden, scored 17 points off of the bench while shooting 3-5 from behond the arc.
- Olajide picked up Brooklyn's second double-double of the evening, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

- Corey Powell scored a team-high 16 points on 7-8 shooting from the field including 2-2 from beyond the arc.
- Nick Hurowitz and Zamere McKenzie chipped in 13 points each.
