Brooklyn, NY---After only taking one of three doubles matches, Brooklyn was able to capture four out of six singles matches, earning the 5-4 victory over Hunter, and moving to 1-0 in conference play. For Hunter, it was their first loss of the 2022 season, as they Hawks drop to 2-1, 0-2 CUNYAC, while the Bulldogs improve to 2-1 overall.
Aymen Kuc had a big victory at #4 singles, in the only three-set match of the afternoon, defeating Hunter's John Devakanmalai, 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.
Ryan Sham (#1),
Christian Pena (#5) and John Koundouradas (#6) all won their singles matches in two sets.
Sham and Kuc combined to win #1 doubles by an 8-3 score.
The Bulldogs return to action on Monday, April 4th, as they host St. Elizabeth in a non-conference match.
