Bulldogs Fall to St. Joe's Brooklyn on the Road in Battle of Brooklyn

Aviator Field (Brooklyn, NY)-----Despite a late goal, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team wasn't able to find an answer for a high-octane St. Joseph's Brooklyn squad that scored four goals in the first half to go on to win 5-1.  BC drops to 0-3-1 overall with the loss while the Bears improved to 2-1 with the non-conference win.  Next Up: The Bulldogs will have a day off before hosting Farmingdale on Monday, September 12 at Brooklyn College Field at 4pm.  

The Rundown 
  • The Bears scored the game-winner in 31' after getting on the scoreboard first in 17'.  St. Joe's added two more goals in final 14+ minutes of action for a 4-0 halftime lead.  The home team scored in 62' before the Bulldogs avoided the shutout in the match's final seven minutes of play.  
  • Brooklyn was out-shot 19-4 for the match.
