Brooklyn, NY----The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to New Jersey City University, 7-0, on Wednesday at Brooklyn College Field.  BC drops to 0-4 to start the season while the Gothic Knights move to 2-2-2 with the victory on the road.  Next Up: BC will host Mitchell in a soccer double bill on Saturday at Brooklyn College Field with the women kicking off at 1pm followed by the men's team playing host to Old Westbury at 3:30 pm.  

The Rundown 

• The visitors scored the game-winner in 3' and knocked in four more goals by halftime for a 5-0 advantage.  
• Brooklyn held their ground in the second period, but gave up a pair of NJCU goals late in the match.

• Dionisia Payamps and Oshen Henderson each had shots for Brooklyn that went wide.  

Leading the Gothic Knights

• Nyrohah Alvarenga and Kim Brites scored two goals each while Alvarenga also assisted on a pair of goals to finish with six points for the match.
