Chester, PA---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team pulled out a split this afternoon in a non-conference trimatach hosted by Widener University. Brooklyn defeated Union, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-21), but fell to the host, 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-18), in the final match of the day. BC moves to 2-3 with the split. Next Up: The Bulldogs take the short trip to St. Joe's Brooklyn on Thursday for non-conference tilt at 7pm.
The Rundown
- Brooklyn put away 37 kills to Union's 15 in the Bulldogs' first match of the day.
- Despite close starts in all three sets, the Bulldogs would eventually pull away in the later stages against Union.
- Brooklyn improved as the match wore on against Widener, but the home team put together long rallies towards the middle of each set. Widener served up 10 aces to the Bulldogs' one for the match.

- Zhao Ming Li put away a match-high 12 kills against Union. He also came up with 12 digs for the match's lone double-double.
- Shung Hui Zhu set for a match-high 21 assists against Union and added a team-high 9 assists against Widener.
- Dion Csikortos led the ground attack defensively for Brooklyn, finishing with a match-high 13 digs against Union and a match-high 9 digs against Widener.
