Purchase, NY----Playing their fifth straight match on the road, the Brooklyn College women's volleyball team took care of business on Friday night, rolling to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-13) sweep at Purchase College. BC improves to 9-11 overall with the non-conference victory while the Panthers drop to 4-18.

How It Happened
- Brooklyn jumped out to a 10-4 lead to start the match beginning with back-to-back kills put away by Ashley Fung and Sydney Gdanski.
- The Bulldogs were even more dominant in the second set, taking a 19-4 lead. Already leading 19-5, Aleah Rafat, scored three of the next four points on a kill and a pair of service aces.
- Already 16-13 in the third set, Brooklyn rallied for nine straight scores three Rafat service aces and a pair of Fung kills to close out the match.
- BC served up 13 aces on the evening and hit .241 for the match to the Panthers' -.143.
For the Bulldogs
- Fung led the way with a match-high 11 kills to go along with 9 digs. She is now just two kills away from reaching 1,000 kills for her career – the first in program history.
- Rafat added 8 kills and served up 7 aces on the evening.
- Defensively, sophomore libero, Ruti Joshi, came up with a match-high 12 digs.
