Wayne, NJ----Putting a halt to a four-match skid, the Brooklyn College women's tennis team pulled out a 5-4 non-conference victory at William Paterson University on Sunday.  BC moves to 2-5 with the win while the Pioneers drop to 1-3 overall. 

Next Up:

• The Bulldogs will have a week to prep for another non-conference road match at Kean University on Saturday, Oct. 14. 

How It Happened

• Trailing 2-1 heading into singles play, the Bulldogs won four of six singles matches for the team victory.  Saoirse Ebert and Sophia Kebadze gave BC their lone win in doubles at the No. 2 slot. 
• Ebert would go on to win (6-3, 6-4) at #2 singles.
• Kebadze picked up a (6-4, 6-1) victory at #3 singles. 
• Diana Rezk was victorious at No. 4 singles, (6-4, 7-5). 
• Linqing Zhu cruised to a (6-0, 6-0) win at No. 6 singles.
