BROOKLYN, New York---Despite a more even second half, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team wasn't able to erase a 20-point halftime deficit, eventually falling to Ramapo College, 82-55, on Monday night at the West Quad Center. BC drops to 0-7 overall with the non-conference loss while the Roadrunners improved to 5-1 with their fourth straight victory.

The Bulldogs and Roadrunners kept it close through the first part of the first half, where the Roadrunners were up by no more than 5 points.

Ramapo College began to pull away as they would outscore Brooklyn College 14-2 to go up 32-16 with five minutes to go in the first half.

Eventually, Ramapo would take the largest lead of the game up until that point, leading 48-28 at the break.

The Bulldogs would cut it down to a 17-point lead, with 9 minutes to go in the second half to make it 63-46, but another 12-1 RC run would extend the lead back up to 28 with under 5 minutes to play.

Ramapo had 26 fast break points to Brooklyn's 10, narrowly outscoring Brooklyn in the paint 32 to 30 and on second chance point opportunities 19 to 14.
