Brooklyn, NY----In a CUNYAC thriller, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team triumphed in their season finale at home over York on Tuesday, 91-89, on Senior Day. Brooklyn closes out the season with a 5-19 overall record including a 3-11 mark in CUNYAC. York ends the regular season with an8-17 overall record and 7-7 in conference play.
The Rundown
- Gaining possession with 14 seconds to go in regulation and the scored tied, 89-89, Brooklyn College junior guard, Zuric Harvey dribbled the ball length of the court for the game-winning layup with a second remaining. York's final inbound didn't make it to a shooter.
- Never trailing the entire contest, Brooklyn pushed their lead up to 89-74 with 3:46 to go in the contest on a made three buried by junior guard, Malik Dale. However, the Cardinals didn't not go away, responding with a 15-0 run to tie the game before Harvey's heroics.
- The Bulldogs led by as many as 19 points in the first half following a made jumper splashed by senior forward, Elisha Park. BC would head into halftime with a 54-39 advantage.
