Brooklyn, NY----In front of an enthusiastic West Quad Center crowd on Wednesday, the top-seeded Brooklyn College women's basketball team, held off o. 5 York College, 73-63, in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament, advancing to the finals for the eighth straight season! • Leading 61-53 with 5:28 to go in regulation, the Bulldogs began to pull away beginning with a 7-0 to extend their lead to 15 points by the 3:17 mark.  Brooklyn led by double-figures the rest of the way.  
• Your made things interesting in the third quarter, thanks to a 9-0 run to cut Brooklyn's lead to as few as five points late in the period after BC led by as many as 16.  
• Brooklyn trailed the Cardinals 14-13 to start the second quarter.  The Bulldogs would go on to outscore YC 24-11 to take a 37-25 halftime lead, highlighted by a made three buried by senior guard, Ericka James.
