Bulldogs Move Past York in Semifinals, 73-63; Play for CUNYAC Title on Friday

Brooklyn, NY----In front of an enthusiastic West Quad Center crowd on Wednesday, the top-seeded Brooklyn College women's basketball team, held off o. 5 York College, 73-63, in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament, advancing to the finals for the eighth straight season! The Bulldogs will take on No. 2 John Jay College in the championship game on Friday, February 24, at 5:30 pm at CCNY.  Revserve your FREE tickets now HERE .  Brooklyn improves to 18-7 with the win while the Cardinals exit the conference tournament with a 12-12. mark.

  • Leading 61-53 with 5:28 to go in regulation, the Bulldogs began to pull away beginning with a 7-0 to extend their lead to 15 points by the 3:17 mark.  Brooklyn led by double-figures the rest of the way.
