Bulldogs Roll to CUNYAC Win at Hunter, 99-83; Malik Dale Nets 41 Points

New York, NY----Scoring a season-high as a team, Brooklyn College Men's Basketball rolled to a 99-83 win at Hunter in conference play on Wednesday.  BC moves to 4-18 overall and 2-10 in CUNYAC with the win while Hunter drops to 8-15 and 5-7 respectively.  Next Up: The Bulldogs look to keep their momentum going at home against CCNY on Friday in the second game of a conference doubleheader at 7:15.  

The Rundown
  • Heading into a halftime with a 40-35 halftime advantage, the Bulldogs opened the second half with a 14-2 run highlighted by a Malik Dale three to give Brooklyn their first double-digit lead of the contest with 18:49 left in regulation.  Brooklyn led by as many as 19 points in the final 20 minutes of play.  
  • The home team led by as many as six points in the first half before Brooklyn went on a 9-2 run to take the lead for good by the 7:42 mark.

  • Kayin Olajide had Brooklyn's second double-double finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  He also came up with 5 steals.  
  • David McFadden notched BC's third double-double finishing with a game-high 10 assists and 10 rebounds.
