Newport News, VA----The stage is set and the Brooklyn College women's basketball team will be taking on regional host, Christopher Newport University (26-0) in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament on Friday, March 3. Tip-off is slated for 8:30 pm ET.  Brooklyn (19-7) advances to the tourney for the third straight season after winning the CUNYAC Championship last Friday over John Jay, 64-58.  It marked the 27th straight time BC defeated John Jay and extended the Bulldogs' win-streak against CUNYAC opponents to 46. Christopher Newport enters the Tournament for the seventh consecutive season.
