Brooklyn, NY----In a five-set thriller, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball took the fourth and deciding sets to defeat Medgar Evers, 3-2 (24-26, 25-18, 18-25, 25-13, 15-10), in conference play at the West Quad Gymnasium on Saturday.  BC improves to 6-11 overall and 2-6 while avenging an early season loss to the Cougars.  MEC drops to 3-9 overall and 1-7 in CUNYAC with the loss.  Next Up: Brooklyn will head back on the road to Baruch on Tuesday at 6pm.  
How It Happened
	- Trailing 19-15 in the opening set, the Bulldogs rallied for four straight scores capped by a Jiaian Flanders ace to get themselves back in the contest.  With the Bulldogs clinging to a 24-23 lead, the Cougars rallied for three straight scores including a pair of kills to take the first set.  
- Leading 20-18 in the second set, the Bulldogs tied the match, 1-1, on a five-score rally.  Earlier in the set, Tommy Min gave the Bulldogs a 20-15 lead with back-to-back kills.  
- Brooklyn led 13-12 in the third set before MEC went on a 4-0 run to take the lead for good.  
- The Bulldogs didn't retreat in the fourth set and thanks to a six-score rally highlighted by two Min aces, the Bulldogs grabbed an 8-3 advantage and never looked back, closing out the set on four straight scores sparked by a kill put away by Fidel Maldonado, Jr.  
- Brooklyn carried that momentum into the fifth and deciding set and jumped out to a 2-0 lead.  Medgar would eventually tie the score, 5-5, before BC rolled to seven consecutive scores for a commanding 12-5 advantage.  Brooklyn closed out the match on a Min kill.
