Brooklyn, NY----The No. 2 seeded Brooklyn College men's tennis team closed out the 2022-23 campaign on Sunday, suffering a heartbreaking 5-4 defeat in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament to No. 3 Hunter College.  BC ends the season with an 8-6 overall record while the Hawks advance to the conference championship against Baruch on Thursday.  

How It Happened

• A competitive match throughout, the Hawks clinched the win in the final match of the day at No. 2 singles.  
• Trailing the Hawks 2-1 following doubles play, the Bulldogs took a 4-2 lead by winning at No. 1, No. 6, and No. 4 singles respectively.
• Hunter would respond by winning at No. 4 and then No. 3 before the deciding match.
