Gianna Gotti Signs with Professional Team in Portugal

Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the Brooklyn College women's basketball program, recent BC grad and standout guard, Gianna Gotti, has recently signed a contract to play professionally for Clube Dos Galitos that competes in Associação de Basquetebol de Aveiro regionally within Liga Betclic Feminina Basquetebol.  Gotti becomes the second Bulldog in as many years to sign professionally overseas with former teammate, Chanel Jemmott, just wrapping up her first season in Costa Rica.

"It is a great accomplishment for Gianna to move on to the professional ranks," said former Head Women's Basketball Coach and current Associate Director, Alex Lang. "To be able to continue to do what she loves, and to compete with some of the top talent in the world, is something that every athlete aspires to.  I am happy for Gianna, and proud to have her represent Brooklyn College Women's Basketball on the international stage."
