Brooklyn, NY----Playing to a draw with a little under ten minutes left in the match, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team wasn't able to hold, as they fell in their Home Opener, 1-0, to St. Elizabeth. Brooklyn drops to 0-3 to start the season while the Eagles improve to 2-0 with the non-conference victory.

- The Bulldogs continue their homestand on Saturday, 9/9, against Purchase. Kickoff is set for 12pm. It will be the first part of a soccer doubleheader at BC Field with the men's team following at 3pm against St. Joseph's Brooklyn.
How It Happened
- In 80', SEU's Milagros Rodriguez-Franco found Laila Kendle for a straight-on shot 30 feet out that grazed the crossbar and just cleared the goal line for the lone score of the match.
- Brooklyn had their opportunities with four shots including three on-goal. However, the visitors produced more volume offensively finishing with 16 shots including nine on-goal.
For the Bulldogs
- Sophomore back, Dionisia Payamps, led the way offensively, finishing with three shots on-frame.
- Junior keeper, Angelina Vasta, kept the score close with a couple of huge saves on the day, finishing with eight stops.
