BROOKLYN, New York ---- Coming into Wednesday evening's game, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team had won their previous twenty-seven matches against their conference opponents, the Medgar Evers College Cougars. The streak would continue as the Bulldogs would only trail for the first few seconds of the first quarter, taking control of the game from beginning to end to win 87-53. The Bulldogs now move to 9-6 overall with a 4-1 conference record, while the Cougars drop to 4-7 with a 1-4 conference record.

How It Happened:
- The Bulldogs would go on a very quick 10-0 run two minutes into the game and would go by as many as twenty-one points, ultimately taking a 28-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Medgar Evers College could start off the second quarter on a 7-0 run in the first three minutes of the game, bringing them within twelve before Brooklyn would go on a 13-4 run to go up by as many as 21 points with under four minutes to go.
- Coming out of halftime, Brooklyn would extend their 50-26 lead into the third quarter, ultimately finishing the quarter 73-41.
- During the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would go up by as many as thirty-six points, closing out the game 87-53.
- The Bulldogs bench outscored the Cougars 41-11 and would have 29 second chance points to the Cougars' 9, attaining 32 points off turnovers in the process.
For the Bulldogs:
- Ericka James would be one rebound away from a double-double, finishing as the leading scorer and rebounder with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 assists.
- Anna Kitch would start once again and drop 11 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
- Off the bench, Suliat Afolabi would contribute 15 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and a game-leading 4 steals.
- Dior Dorsey would be one of four players in double figures with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal.
