Bronxville, NY----The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team opened the 2024-25 campaign in a sprint carnival hosted by Sarah Lawrence on Saturday.  BC defeated Purchase, 116-43, but fell to the host, 135-72, and William Paterson, 128-77.  Next Up: Brooklyn travels to Mt. St. Mary on Friday, 10/25, for a non-conference meet at 5pm.  

For the Bulldogs

• Erin Forrest won the 200 freestyle (2:11.39) and 100 freestyle (59.27) events, and finished second in the 100 IM (1:07.26).  
• Anastasia Kutuzov took the 50 breaststroke (35.52) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.32)
• Yara Shaik took third in the 50 backstroke (33.95) and 100 backstroke (1:17.97).
