Bulldogs Have Set-Back at Elms

Box Score CHICOPEE, MA---Looking to build on their dramatic second half comeback on Monday at home, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team suffered a non-conference setback at Elms College on Thursday, 6-0.  BC moves to 2-6-2 with the loss while the Blazers improve to 6-5.  

Despite finding themselves down 4-0 in the first half, the Bulldogs would attempt to get back in the contest right out of halftime, as Julissa Chino would get their first shot on-frame for the match in 46'.  

Trailing 6-0, Brooklyn did create opportunities to score, as Ava Ford would get their next best chance in 59'.

Freshman goalie, April Hartje, finished with 14 saves while facing 30 shots for the match.  

All of Brooklyn's shots (4) came in the second half with a pair on-target.  Each shot was taken by a different Bulldog.  

Elms' Jamie McDonough finished with a hat-trick for the match.  Emily Basua assisted on two of her goals.  

Next Up: Brooklyn travels to Jamaica, NY to take on the York College Cardinals on Tuesday, October 8th at 4:00pm.
