PATCHOGUE, NY--- Coming into Saturday's fifth meet in a row away from home, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team would travel to face the St. Joseph's University-Long Island Golden Eagles in a non-conference matchup. Despite being away once again, the Bulldogs would pull off a 119-65 victory.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (4-1) are off to another strong start this season despite being primarily away from home, while the St. Joseph's-Long Island Golden Eagles (0-2) will continue to seek their first victory of the young season.

Michael Kravets would get things rolling, taking Event 4 with a time of 11:04.31 in the 1000yd Freestyle, which was nearly five minutes faster than his opponent.

James Lee would go onto take the 50yd Freestyle in Event 8 with a time of 25.09, swimming away from second place by 0.19 seconds.

Kravets would also take the 100yd Butterfly in Event 12 with a time of 57.75, being the only competitor to finish under a minute.

In Event 14, Lee would finish the 100yd Freestyle with a time of 57.34, beating second place by a little over 2 seconds.

Max Bratkovsky would win Event 16, taking the 100yd Backstroke with a time of 1:13.71, which was by 23 hundredths of a second.

Event 18, the 500yd Freestyle, went to Kravets with a time of 5:57.53, almost two minutes ahead of second place.

Bratkovsky would finish it off for the men's side in Event 20, taking the 100yd Breaststroke by just 2 hundredths of a second, another close call for the Bulldogs, but ultimately enough for the win.

Next up, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team comes back home to the West Quad Pool for another meeting with the Purchase College Panthers on Saturday, November 16th, at 1pm.
