BC Men's Swimming & Diving Drop Meet to William Paterson

Bulldogs Cannot Win Back-to-Back, Lose to Pioneers

WAYNE, New Jersey ------ Coming into Saturday afternoon's non-conference meet, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team traveled on the road to meet the William Paterson University Pioneers, trying to build off the momentum from their last victory. Instead, the Bulldogs would drop the meet 116-86, failing to win two in a row.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (6-3) maintain a winning record despite the loss, and the William Paterson University Pioneers (8-1) have now extended their win streak to five in a row.

Michael Kravets would take Event 6 with a time of 1:54.34 in the 200-yard Freestyle. Nearly fourteen events later, he would beat his opponents by nearly 2 minutes in the 500-yard Freestyle with a time of 5:13.83 in Event 20.

James Lee would come out on top in Event 24 with a time of 1:16.21 in the 100-yard Breaststroke.

Up next, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team will have to wait until after the new year to come home to face a conference opponent in the Lehman College Lightning on Friday, January 3rd at 6pm in the West Quad Pool.
