Brooklyn, NY--- A dominant performance led the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team to a three-set sweep (25-18,25-20,25-13) over St. Joseph's University on Thursday at the West Quad Gymnasium. BC is off to their best start since the 2019 campaign, improving to 2-0 on the season. St. Joe's dropped their season opener tonight.

How It Happened:
- The Bulldogs and Bears started the first set neck-and-neck, but after an extended volley that ended in a kill by Brooklyn middle, Jason Lin, the Bulldogs held their lead and went on to take the first set, 25-18.
- Controlling the second set from the opening serve, the Bulldogs managed to hold their lead for the entire set and took a 2-1 lead in the match despite a late St. Joe's rally.
- The Bulldogs quickly jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the third set and never looked back, finishing the match with their largest lead of the evening.
- Brooklyn served up nine aces on the evening while yielding just one. BC also hit .116 to the Bears' -.029.
For the Bulldogs:
- Aaron Siu had a match-high 8 kills, 4 aces and 7 digs.
- Jason Lin followed close behind with 7 kills, as well as Tommy Min who contributed 4 kills and 2 service aces.
- David Lema set for a match-high 26 assists and also served up a pair of aces.
