BC Women's Swimming and Diving Competes on Day 1 of Metro Collegiate Championships

Piscataway, NJ---The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team competed on the first of three days at the program's first ever participation in the Metropolitan Collegiate Swimming Championships hosted in Rutgers University's Werblin Recreation Center on Friday.  BC would swim in a pair of relays, a preliminary session and finals session.  After Day 1, Brooklyn is in 10th place with 127 points.

  • Brooklyn returns for Day 2 of Metros on Saturday at 10am.  
Day 1 Highlights
  • The Bulldogs finished eighth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:48.74). 
  • Erin Forrest 10th out of 24 swimmers in the 500 freestyle final.  
  • Anastasia Kutuzov finished ninth out of 19 swimmers in the 200 IM final.  
  • Julie Huang finished first for BC and 21st overall out of 24 swimmers in the 50 freestyle final.
