New York, NY----Despite trailing 5-1 in the fifth and deciding set, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team battled back in dramatic fashion to eventually defeat CCNY, 3-2 (25-23, 16-25, 21-25, 25-22, 17-15) on the road on Thursday. BC improves to 9-12 overall and 5-6 in CUNYAC with the conference win while the Beavers drop to 8-10 and 5-7.

- Brooklyn travels to Valley Forge on Saturday for a non-conference trimatch where they will take on St. Elizabeth at 1pm and the host at 3pm.
How it Happened:
- On the brink of defeat, trailing 14-11 in the deciding set, Brooklyn rallied for four straight scores to take point-match. Following a Beavers' score to force 'deuce', BC closed out the match on a Tommy Min kill after a CCNY service error.
- Down two sets to one and trailing 20-17 in the fourth, Brooklyn rallied for five straight scores capped by a kill put away by Aaaron Siu. Clinging to a 23-22 lead down the stretch, Jiaian Flanders, put away a kill followed by an Aziz Abdusamiev block to force a fifth and deciding set.
- With the score tied 23-23 in the first set, Flanders and Abdusamiev put away back-to-back kills to give BC a 1-0 advantage in the match.
- Brooklyn served up seven aces to the Beavers' four on the evening.
For the Bulldogs
- Flanders put away a match-high 19 kills.
- Siu added 14 kills and came up with a team-high 12 digs.
- Abdusamiev finished with four blocks and eight kills.
- David Lema set for a match-high 44 assists.
- Armand Kaloshi served up a match-high three aces.
