Newburgh, NY----The Brooklyn College women's tennis team fell in non-conference play at Mt. St. Mary on Saturday, 7-0.  Brooklyn drops to 0-3 to start the season while the Knights improve to 1-1.  Next Up: Brooklyn opens CUNYAC play on Tuesday, 9/17, against York in their Home Opener at 3:00 pm.  

How it Happened

• The home team took all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.  BC's Rebecca Finney and Diana Rezk faired the best at #2 doubles, falling 6-2.  
• Rezk would go on to battle at No. 4 singles, but was outlasted (4-6, 6-4, 6-7).  
• Brooklyn's Nora Zhu also took her opponent to three sets, but was defeated at the No. 6 slot (6-4, 0-6, 4-6).
