JAMAICA, New York ------ Coming into their first conference game of the year, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team would start their journey on the road and facing the York College Cardinals. Up to this point, the Bulldogs had been riding an eight game losing streak, their largest in recent years, and they were hoping to break it in time for conference play. Fortunately, they would do just that, as they would defeat York College in a convincing 4-0 performance.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (3-9-0, 1-0-0 CUNYAC) earn their first conference victory in a crucial conference match to get off on the right foot, while the York College Cardinals (2-6-0, 0-1-0 CUNYAC) continue to search for their first conference victory.

York would force Sage Bernstein to make a save on the bottom left at 19'.

Julissa Chino would open up the score with a goal off a pass from Zasu Alvarez at 20' for the 1-0 lead they will take into halftime. She would have 9 shots to lead all of Brooklyn, with 4 of them on target.

After 6 shots and 3 on target, Shakhzoda Isomidinova would finally find the back of then net off a pass from Chelsea Gonzalez to make it 3-0 at 56'.

The connection between the two players would be found once again as Gonzalez would find Isomidinova to make it 4-0 at 69'. Chelsea Gonzalez would have 6 shots with 1 on goal with 2 assists, while Shakhzoda Isomidinova would end with 2 goals on 7 shots, 4 on target.
