BC Men's Swim & Dive Picked Runner-Up in Preseason Coaches Poll; Kravets Gets Swimmer to Watch Nod

Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Thursday, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team was picked to finish third with the release of the 2025-26 Preseason Coaches Poll.  In addition, BC junior, Michael Kravets, was selected as a Swimmer to Watch during the season.

Finishing with a 7-5 overall record in dual meets last season, the Bulldogs would go on to take second place at last year's conference championships.  

A former CUNYAC Rookie of the Year and earning CUNYAC All-Star accolades last year, Kravets currently owns six Brooklyn College records.  He won the 500 and 1650 freestyle events at the 2025 conference championships while also helping BC to bronze medals in the 400 freestyle relay, the 400 medley relay, and the 200 freestyle relay.  In addition he helped the Bulldogs to a silver medal in the 200 medley relay.
