Flushing, NY---The Brooklyn College women's tennis team fell to Pratt, 7-0, in a Battle of Brooklyn at the USTA National Tennis Center on Thursday.  BC moves to 6-6 overall with the non-conference loss while Pratt improved to 5-0.  Next Up: Brooklyn closes out conference play at home on Saturday, October 18, against Baruch at 12pm on Senior Day.  

The Cannoneers won all three doubles matches on the evening.  Alexis Goodman and Medina Kuc had their moments at No. 1 doubles, but fell 6-3.  Kuc played a tough first set at No. 3 singles, but was outlasted (7-6, 6-2).  After being shutout, 6-0, in the first set at No. 4 singles, Joyce Benjamin, battled back in the set but was defeated, 7-6.
