Men's Cross Country

Men's XC Takes Third at CUNYAC Championships; Three Bulldogs Finish in Top-Ten

Van Cortlandt Park, NY----For the third straight year, the Brooklyn College men's cross country team earned a Third Place trophy at the 2025 CUNYAC Championships on Sunday.  Hunter won the event followed by Baruch.  BC finished of CCNY, Medgar Evers, and Lehman in the final scoring.  

Brooklyn had three top-ten finishers out of 66 participants on the 8K course led by freshman, Anthony King, who took fourth overall with a time of 29:21.5.  Immediately following King was junior, Yasin Gordon, who finished fifth with a time of 29:42.2.  Rounding out BC's top-three was sophomore, Dexter Weiner, who finished ninth overall with a time of 31:34.5 thanks to a dramatic push on his final strides. Omer Ahmed placed 36th overall with a time of 38:01.2.  Four-year senior, Wali Mohammad, ran a solid final race finishing 48th overall.  He was followed by Juan Siavichay who came in 49th.  Nathaniel Goldring took 58th overall at his first CUNYAC Championships.
