Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Friday, three members of the Brooklyn College women's tennis tennis earned postseason honors. Freshmen,
Alexis Goodman and
Aniyah James, were named Second Team All-Conference while junior,
Medina Kuc, was a Sportsmanship Team selection. The trio helped Brooklyn double the total amount of wins from previous season and make an appearance as the #3 seed in conference championship tournament semifinals.
Alexis Goodman (Second Team All-Star)
- Went 6-5 (3-2 CUNYAC) overall in singles including a 4-1 mark at the #2 flight.
- Was 7-4 (4-1 CUNYAC) at No. 1 doubles.
- Named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week and earned an Honorable Mention for the week during the season.
Aniyah James (Second Team All-Star)
- Went 6-6 (4-2 CUNYAC) overall in singles including a 3-1 at the top flight.
- Was 4-4 (4-1 CUNYAC) in doubles.
- Named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week during the season.
Medina Kuc (Sportsmanship Team)
- Went 8-4 (4-2 CUNYAC) overall in singles including 1-0 record at the #2 flight and a 2-0 record at the #4 flight.
- Went 8-4 (5-1 CUNYAC) at top-flight doubles.
- Named CUNYAC Player of the Week and earned an Honorable Mention for the Week on the season.
