Brooklyn's Win-Streak Ended at Kean

Box Score Union, NJ----Riding into Saturday with a three-match win-streak, the Brooklyn College women's tennis team fell at Kean University, 6-1, in non-conference play.  BC moves to 5-4 overall with the loss while the Cougars improved to 1-1.  Next Up: BC returns to their conference slate against reigning CUNYAC champ, Hunter College, on Tuesday, 10/7, at 3pm.  

The home team took the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots.  Brooklyn's Medina Kuc and Alexis Goodman pulled out a 7-6 victory at No. 1 doubles.  

Aniyah James gave Brooklyn their lone singles win of the afternoon at No. 2, (6-4, 3-6, 7-6).  Kuc put up a fight at No. 3 singles, but fell (2-6, 3-6).  Oleksandra Shablii had a solid showing in the first set at No. 6 singles, but was eventually defeated, (5-7, 0-6).
