Brooklyn, NY----The Brooklyn College women's soccer team ended their season on Saturday as the No. 2 seeded Bulldogs fell to No. 3 seed, CCNY, in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championship Tournament at Brooklyn College Field. Brooklyn wraps up the season with a 4-11-1 overall record while the Beavers advance to the CUNYAC Championship match with a 4-7-3 mark.
A scoreless match through 64 minutes of play, CCNY scored the eventual game-winner in 65' on a Marjorie Placencia goal. The Beavers continued their aggressive offensive attack in final 25 minutes of regulation, paying off in 77' as they took a 2-0 lead on a Sara Rodriguez net. CCNY outshot Brooklyn 9-3 in the second half.
