Brooklyn Women's Swim and Dive Outlasted at Home by St. Joseph's Long Island

Brooklyn, NY----Despite putting forth another strong showing at the West Quad Pool on Saturday, BC Women's Swimming and Diving was outlasted in a non-conference dual meet by St. Joseph's Long Island, 121-83.  BC moves to 0-2 to start the young season while the Golden Eagles improved to 2-1.  Next Up: The Bulldogs have a two-week break before hosting Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, November 15, at 1pm.  

Daniela Ayala helped BC to 18 points with a pair of first place finishes on the afternoon.  She took first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 28.51 before also winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:02.12.  

Elizabeth Bailey-Hamm also had a standout day with three second place finishes.  She took second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:44.89 before also taking second in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke.
