Brooklyn, NY----Returning home after a four-game road stretch, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team fell to Albertus Magnus College, 88-54, on Wednesday at the West Quad Center. BC drops to 2-7 overall with the non-conference loss while the Falcons improved to 4-3 in victory. Next Up: Brooklyn will look to bounce back on Friday as they open conference play at home against CCNY at 7:15pm.
Brooklyn held their last lead of the game, 16-15, with 13:39 to go in the first half following a made three buried by D'Aze Hunter. Brooklyn's
Muneer Ibrahem would tie the game, 21-21, with a another made three with 11:44 to go in the first half before the Falcons went on a 17-0 run to close out the first half and grab a 51-28 halftime advantage.
The Bulldogs weren't able to get within fewer than 20 points of Albertus Magnus in the second half. Albertus Magnus outscored Brooklyn 34-3 in points off of turnovers for the contest. Four Falcon starters reached double-figures in scoring led by Ray Ford Jr.'s game-high 22 points.
