BC Men's Swimming and Diving Remains Undefeated Against Lehman

Bulldogs Earn Fifth Win Of The Season In A Row

THE BRONX, New York ------- Coming into their first conference meet, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team was hoping to remain unbeaten, but they needed to find a way to beat their conference opponents in the Lehman College Lightning. After winning the previous four meets, the Bulldogs would finally prevail once again over their conference opponents in convincing fashion, taking a 185-16 victory, having reached triple digits all season.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (5-0) remain unbeaten in the season, while the Lehman College Lightning (1-4) end their short win streak after a previous victory in the last meet.

Nicholai Krylyuk would gain an important victory over the Lehman swimmers, posting a time of 2:23.80 in Event 6's 200-yard freestyle.

Or Volpert would beat his fellow teammate by one second in Event 8, with the Lightning having their closes swimmer eight seconds away, posting a time of 23.66 in the 50-yard freestyle. He would then shine in Event 16, finishing in under a minute with a time of 59.17 in the 100-yard freestyle.

Up next, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team comes back home to face the William Paterson University Pioneers on Sunday, December 6th at 1pm.
