BROOKLYN, New York ------- Coming back home for their first meet of the three-game homestand, the Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team was hoping to continue to build momentum from their victory in The Bronx, but they needed to find a way around the William Paterson University Pioneers. In a hard fought meet, Brooklyn College would fortunately get it done at home against William Paterson University, proving to be too strong and handing themselves a 129-99 win.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (6-0) are rolling to start of this season, looking stronger than ever, while the William Paterson University Pioneers (5-3) have now dropped the last two meets by narrow margins.

Michael Kravets would beat his nearest direct opponent by twelve seconds, posting a time of 17:44.48 in Event 4's 1650 yard freestyle to take first place. He would proceed to do the same in Event 14 with a time of 55.66 in the 100-yard butterfly.

In Event 8, Or Volpert would win by less than a second with a time of 22.32 in the 50 yard freestyle. He would once again take first place not too long later with a time of 50.53 in the 100 yard freestyle in Event 16.

Andrew Woo would earn an extra nine points with a time of 56.53 in the 100 yard backstroke to take Event 18. He would do the same in the 100 yard breaststoke with a time of 58.78, being the only swimmer to finish under a minute in Event 24.

In the narrowest event of the day, Michael Kravets would beat his closest opponent in a neck-to-neck battle by just 0.04 of a second in the 500 yard freestyle in Event 20, proving to be crucial victory when scoring and pushing Brooklyn to victory.
