Brooklyn, NY----After winning their first dual meet of the season on Wednesday at Lehman, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and dive had a solid showing on Saturday, but fell to William Paterson, 144-69. BC moves to 1-6 overall with the non-conference loss while the Pioneers improved to 6-2. Next Up: Brooklyn returns to their CUNYAC slate on Monday at home against York College at 6pm.

Elizabeth Bailey-Hamm had a stellar afternoon, winning the 50 freestyle (25.81), She would go on to finish second in the 100 freestyle. Freshman,
Antonietta Baerga, also had an all-around standout day, finishing third in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 breaststroke. Sophomore,
Yara Shaik, took third in the 200 IM and second in the 100 backstroke. Junior,
Magdalena Mackiewicz, placed second in the 1 meter dive.
