Piscataway, NJ----BC Women's Swimming and Diving competed on Day One of the Metropolitan Championships hosted by Rutgers University on Friday.  The Bulldogs return to the championship event on Saturday for Day Two of prelims and finals.  

Day 1 Highlights

• Yara Shaik finished 10th out of 16 swimmers in the 200 IM with a time of 2:41.51.  
• Sydney Gdanski finished first for Brooklyn and 14th overall out of 24 swimmers in the 50 freestyle final.
