Brooklyn, NY---Announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) on Monday, Brooklyn College junior guard, Anna Kitch, earned an All-Met Honorable mention.  It is Kitch's first honor from the organization in her second season with the Bulldogs.  

Already named a First Team CUNYAC All-Star for her efforts this past season, Kitch helped lead Brooklyn to their fifth straight conference championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament.  She led the Bulldogs in scoring (11.6 ppg) and rebounding (9.2 rpg), averaging close to a double-double on the year, and was tied for first in the conference in three-point field goal makes (61) while ranking second in the conference in three-point shooting percentage.  

Racking up eight double-doubles (points and rebounds) on the season, Kitch, scored a season-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds at Whittier College (CA) in late December. She grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds to go long with 12 points in a key conference win over Baruch in early January.  Kitch would garner All-Tournament honors for efforts during BC's conference tournament title run.
