BC Women's Tennis Cruises to Conference Victory at Albertus Magnus

Box Score New Haven, CT----BC Women's Tennis scored their second CUNYAC win of the week on Saturday, rolling to a 7-0 shutout at Albertus Magnus.  Brooklyn improves to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play with the win while the Falcons drop to 0-4 and 0-3 respectively.  Next Up: Brooklyn will look to keep it going in conference play at Lehman College on Tuesday, 9/30.  

The Bulldogs began the afternoon with a pair of convincing doubles victories.  Alexis Goodman and Medina Kuc cruised to a 6-0 win at the top flight while Aniyah James and Kristen Vega also won in a 6-0 shutout at No. 2.  

James would then go on to win (6-0, 6-1) at No. 1 singles.  Goodman scored a (6-0, 6-0) straight set shutout at No. 2 singles.  Kuc also didn't lose a game on the day with a (6-0, 6-0) victory at No. 3 singles.  Vega earned a (6-2, 6-4) win at No. 4 singles.  Oleksandra Shablii secured the shutout with a (6-1, 6-0) win at No. 5 singles.
