Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Friday, Brooklyn College Women's Tennis was picked fourth in the conference's preseason coaches poll. In addition, BC junior,
Medina Kuc, was named a Player to Watch in the conference this season. Baruch was picked to win the league this season followed by Hunter and Lehman. BC finished ahead of John Jay, York, and first-year conference tennis affiliate, Albertus Magnus.
The Bulldogs are off to a 1-1 start to the season under first-year Head Coach, Akilah James. Brooklyn will look to improve on their 2-3 conference record and semifinal appearance last season.
BC opens conference play at home against York on September 23.
Kuc is already off to a good start this season, with a 2-0 record at No. 3 singles.
