BC Women's Swimming and Diving Swims Conference Meet Against Baruch

Bulldogs Drop Second Meet of 2026

BROOKLYN, New York ------ Coming into their second swim meet of the new calendar year, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team would face off in conference action against the Baruch College Bearcats at home. Having lost their last encounter at home in conference action, the Bulldogs looked to bounce back after a difficult stretch. Unfortunately, Brooklyn College would be defeated once again by a score of 155-49.

The Brooklyn College Bulldogs (2-8, 2-3 CUNYAC) drop their second meet in a row to start off the year, posting a losing conference record in the process. Meanwhile the Baruch College Bearcats (5-4, 2-1 CUNYAC) bounce back from their previous loss in the conference to regain a winning record.

Magdalena Mackiewicz would put on a solid performance in the 1-meter dive, posting a score of 145.90 in Event 11.

Though the Bulldogs would not get any other first place finishes, Elizabeth Bailey-Hamm would go on to take second place in three separate events.

Up next, the Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team move the meet to the West Quad Pool for a home meeting on Saturday, January 14th at 1:00pm against the Bard College Raptors.
