McDaniel responded with timely baskets and free throws down the stretch to maintain its lead and secure the victory.
Jackson led all Brooklyn scorers with 20 points, adding eight rebounds, eight assists, and five steals. She would be named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts. Anna Kitch contributed 11 points and eight rebounds, while Ariel Williams added eight points and four boards off the bench. Brooklyn finished the game shooting 37.7% from the field and outrebounded McDaniel 38-36.Â
