Ewing, NJ----On Friday, the Brooklyn College cross country program ran in their second meet of the season at the Herb Lorenz Invitational hosted by the College of New Jersey.  The Brooklyn women placed sixth out of six teams on the evening while the men took fourth out of six teams.  Next Up: The Bulldogs continue their meet season at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University on Saturday, September 19.  

MEET RESULTS 

Freshman Jacqueline Nocera led the Bulldogs across the finish line, placing 36th overall with a time of 24:29.7 on the 5K course. Freshman Isabela Vargas followed in 43rd at 28:37.8, while freshman Rayhanna Alexander crossed in 50th with a time of 34:29.4. Sophomore Meliza Aguilar finished 51st in 34:38.9, and freshman Rebecca Peralta rounded out Brooklyn's scoring five in 52nd at 35:11.8. Freshman Annabelle DeFortune also competed for the Bulldogs, finishing 53rd in 35:20.8.

Senior Yasin Gordon paced the Bulldogs, finishing 31st overall in 21:57.6 on the 6K course. Sophomore Anthony King followed in 35th at 22:14.0, while freshman Daniel Menedez placed 43rd in 22:43.3. Freshman Spencer Weiner crossed in 45th with a time of 22:55.6, followed closely by freshman Calvin Weiner in 52nd at 23:53.5. Junior Dexter Weiner finished 53rd in 23:56.5, with freshman Jun Cheng placing 54th in 24:02.4 and freshman Erick Largo recording a time of 24:06.5.
