Brooklyn, NY---Brooklyn College Women's Soccer played to their second draw of the season on Saturday afternoon  at home with Purchase College, 2-2.  Brooklyn moves to 0-1-2 overall while the Panthers go to 0-0-1.  Next Up: The Bulldogs remain home on Wednesday, September 16, for a non-conference match against Albertus Magnus at 4pm.  

Purchase took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute on a penalty kick by Lindita Selmani. Brooklyn tied the match just before halftime when Aissa Santos Lopez scored on a direct free kick in the 45th minute.

The Panthers went back in front in the 68th minute on a goal by Hanna Pokines. Brooklyn answered in the 76th minute when Gianna DiPronio scored her second goal of the season off an assist from Scarlett Davis to make it 2-2.  The visitors were able to fend off a late Brooklyn push that included a pair of corner kicks and a shot.  

BC goalie, April Hartje, finished with a save in all ninety minutes of action.  

Brooklyn finished with a 16-4 advantage in shots and an 11-3 edge in corner kicks. The Bulldogs placed five shots on goal.
