Brooklyn, NY----Announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference on Tuesday, Brooklyn College sophomore, Anthony King, was named the conference's Runner of the Week (Sept. 14-20).  King earns the weekly honor for the first time this season, having received a CUNYAC Honorable Mention a couple of weeks ago.  

Helping Brooklyn place sixth out of 15 teams at the Osprey Open 8K hosted by Stockton University on Saturday, King finished first for Brooklyn and 62nd overall out of 151 runners with a time of 29:16.9.  

Brooklyn Cross Country will be back on the course on October 4 at the Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
