Brooklyn College Athletics

College: In 2009-10, as a junior, played in 27 games, while making one start. In 16.9 minutes per game, averaged 7.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Also chipped in with 33 assists and 29 steals on the season. Played a key role in helping Brooklyn repeat as CUNYAC champions, earning the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year... In 2008-09, as a sophomore, played in all 29 games on the season, starting in 23. Made an immediate impact on the team in first year at BC, averaging 12.8 points per game in 26.9 minutes of action per game (both good for third on the team). Also contributed with 61 assists, 43 steals and 3.1 rebounds per game. Scored a season and game-high 25 points in a 98-76 victory over John Jay on January 14, 2009. Played a key role in helping Brooklyn win the CUNYAC title and earn the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to BC: In 2007-08, played freshman season at Division III Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. Appeared in 25 games for the Eagles, making 17 starts. Second on the team in both minutes played and scoring, averaging 22.8 minutes per game and 12.0 points per game. Also chipped in with 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, to go with 23 steals on the year.

High School: Played at Curtis High School on Staten Island

Personal: Cousin is former Brooklyn College teammate Daniel Nesbitt, who scored 1,215 career points in three seasons in Brooklyn. Also related to former MLB players Roberto and Sandy Alomar Jr. Hemingway is an accomplished saxophone player.
