College: In 2009, as a first year member of the BC Women's Tennis team, led the squad with a 11-2 singles record, en route to being named to the CUNYAC All-Star First Team Fifth Singles. Also went 5-5 in doubles play.

High School: Attended Herlong High School (California).

Personal: International Business major... Transfer from Kingsborough Community College.

Coach Odetalla Says: "Diana Derks is this year's captain. She already has gained the respect of both her teammates and her coach."
