Biography
College: Fourth year member of the BC Men's Basketball program... In 2010-2011, as a junior, played in seven games, while averaging 3.4 minutes and 1.6 points per game... In 2009-10, as a sophomore, appeared in 11 games helping the team repeat as CUNYAC Champions, making a return trip to the NCAA Tournament... In 2008-09, appeared in 10 games as a freshman on team that won the CUNYAC title, earning the conference's automatic bid to the Division III NCAA Tournament.
High School: Played at Robert F. Kennedy High School. Led PSAL in assists per game (12.4) during his senior season.
Personal: Honor Roll student in high school. Member of National Honor Society. Also a member of the BC Men's Cross Country team.
Coach Podias Says: "Jonathan Martinez is a senior guard who can shoot it well and plays the game on both ends. We look to his experience to help us in our quest for the championship."
